Women and Youth in Avocado Initiatives
Empowering Women and Youth in Murang’a's Avocado Value Chain
We strive to provide highest quality education, bridging your child's success with well formed infrastructure of knowledge and resources.
About the Initiative
Murang’a County leads in avocado production, yet women and youth remain underrepresented in the sector. The Women and Youth in Avocado Initiative (WYIA) was launched to bridge this gap by promoting inclusive participation, agribusiness training, and climate-smart practices. Through targeted support, WYIA creates opportunities for improved livelihoods and cooperative leadership among women and youth.
